We collect minimal data to make TaskSpark work. We don't sell your data. We don't know your name or email unless you tell us. You must be 13 or older to use TaskSpark.
What We Collect
- Anonymous user identifier — A random ID provided by ChatGPT that lets us track your streaks and completions. This ID cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Task descriptions — The tasks you share with TaskSpark (e.g., "clean my flat", "send email to boss").
- Completion timestamps — When you mark tasks as complete, so we can calculate your streaks.
- Usage patterns — Which tools you use and when, to improve TaskSpark.
What We Don't Collect
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your location
- Your IP address
- Any payment information
How We Use Your Data
- To track your streaks and total completions
- To remember your recent tasks and provide personalised suggestions
- To analyse patterns (like what time of day you're most productive)
- To improve TaskSpark based on how people use it
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with encryption at rest and in transit. Our servers are hosted on Railway with automatic HTTPS encryption. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g., "users completed 10,000 tasks this month") but this cannot be linked back to you.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you use TaskSpark. If you stop using the service, your data may be automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
Your Rights
You can request to:
- See what data we have about you
- Delete all your data
- Export your data in a portable format

ChatGPT Integration
TaskSpark operates as a ChatGPT app (MCP server). When you use TaskSpark through ChatGPT, OpenAI's privacy policy also applies to your interactions. We only receive the data that ChatGPT sends to our servers when you use TaskSpark tools.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of TaskSpark after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
By using TaskSpark, you agree to these terms. TaskSpark is provided as-is for personal productivity assistance.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use TaskSpark. If you are between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Description of Service
TaskSpark is an AI-powered task coaching tool designed to help users break down tasks, track progress, and build productive habits. It operates as a ChatGPT app and requires an active ChatGPT account to use.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use TaskSpark only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use TaskSpark to store or process illegal content
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users
- Attempt to disrupt or overload our services
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Service Availability
TaskSpark is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of Liability
TaskSpark is a productivity tool, not a medical or mental health service. While designed with ADHD users in mind, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on TaskSpark's suggestions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskSpark and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Intellectual Property
TaskSpark, including its name, logo, and design, is the property of its creators. Your task data remains yours. By using TaskSpark, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to TaskSpark for users who violate these terms. You may stop using TaskSpark at any time and request deletion of your data.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TaskSpark after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
